nail file types and grit, nail shapes

On every nail file, there is some marking like 100/180 or 180/240 grit. grit represents the roughness or smoothness of the nail file. normally 80 grit nail file has high roughness and usually used to file acrylic nails, 180 grit nail file we can use to shape the nails or to create a dry surface on nails. 240 grit nail file has a smooth surface, after the 180 grit nail file, we can use a 240 grit nail file to seal the outermost layer.

Nail Shapes, there are different types of nail shapes. nail shape is the combination of the distal edge and free edge. sometimes nail shape looks similar but their length differentiates the exact nail shape.
